Hello all!
We are well into December and we have a large collection of new releases for our listeners! If everything goes as planned this will be our last email until February of 2024 (more details on this below).
Now for our new releases...
In last month's newsletter, we announced our exciting new partner- YWAM Publishing. This month, we've added more audiobook titles from their "Heroes of History" series including inspiring stories about one of America's founding fathers (Benjamin Franklin), the establishment of the first lasting British settlement in North America (Captain John Smith), the dangerous exploration of the Caribbean and discovery of the New World (Christopher Columbus), the founding of the American Red Cross (Clara Barton: Courage Under Fire), and surviving the bountiful Kentucky wilderness (Daniel Boone).
From YWAM Publishing's "Christian Heroes Then & Now" collection we are thrilled to share with you the remarkable stories of the famous pioneering African explorer and missionary (David Livingstone), overcoming language barriers to spread God's word (Cameron Townsend), and the journey of a young Kenyan from being a successful entrepreneur to a dedicated missionary helping street children throughout Kenya (Charles Mulli).
For teens/adults, we've added the book "Sunrise in the Valley of Death"; join Amiira Ann in her personal and profound journey of working with the Muslims in Yemen.
The third book in the "Scout" series (The Flying Phantom) is now available for those looking to continue the exhilarating adventures of Tom, his friends, and his trusty companion Scout! Another addition to our growing audiobook catalog is the second book in the "Circle C Milestones" series by Susan Marlow.
We've added 4 albums of Psalter singing by the Asaph Choir, albums of Psalter and Hymn choir music from the Hope Heralds choir, and several more albums of organ music from Dutch musician Hugo van der Meij. Also new are several albums by Animato Music Productions, and the "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" album by the Hosanna Choir.
In addition, we've introduced another long-form calm Christmas album (Christmas Lullabies). 11 hours of gentle Christmas background music!
All of the above titles (and more!) should now be visible inside of the Whillo app.
And finally, as we near the end of the year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our listeners! It has been about a year and a half since we launched Whillo, and the support of our customers- as well as the growth of the platform- has been incredible. Whillo now has listeners all across the globe (including folks from Russia, South Africa, and even Tanzania!) and to see that a few million minutes of audio were streamed across the Whillo apps and online player feels surreal.
We also feel humbled by the many supportive messages and the encouragement we've received from listeners, and are very thankful to the Lord for His help throughout this year.
The feedback and input from our listeners is always appreciated (good or otherwise!) and we look forward to releasing great new content and features to you all in 2024.
Wishing you all a blessed Christmas season with family and friends, and all the very best for the new year!
Happy listening!
The Whillo Team
